A Note from Amy
Thank you for allowing me to serve you over the last four years. As I worked for our students, families, and teachers, I endeavored to put students first in decisions, to ask challenging questions, and to ensure transparency in the governing process. It has not always been easy, but the easy path is rarely the right one. There is still good work to accomplish. I ask for the opportunity to continue to serve as YOUR voice on YOUR board. I ask for your vote on November 3rd so we can continue
WORKING TOGETHER FOR EXCELLENCE.

Happy Teachers,
Teachers should be provided the supplies they need to be effective in their classrooms, the professional development they require to grow in their position, and compensation that is competitive with neighboring districts. In order to improve and maintain this priority, I believe we must persistently lobby our funding bodies for additional support.

Excellence Beyond
Students are not one-size-fits-all. I believe that academics are part of a larger educational equation. We are growing successful citizens, and in order to do that, we need to provide and promote opportunities for our students to develop outside of academics. I would like to see increased promotion, participation, and support for our fine arts, CTE, and extra-curricular programs.

Mental Health:
As someone who lives with generalized anxiety, I recognize the value of receiving support early. I believe that we, as a district, need to strengthen our relationships with community resources and lobby our state legislature for additional funding to provide access to what our students need for their personal wellness.
